Roast Profile: Medium

The Morning Mojo coffee blend is expertly crafted to excel as both espresso and filter coffee. It consists of Brazilian and Ugandan coffees, roasted to highlight their finest flavours.

The Brazilian coffee, sourced from the Mantiqueira Mountains, features the Yellow Bourbon variety and undergoes a Pulped Natural process. It is cultivated by small-holder farmers belonging to the Cocarive Co-operative in Carmo de Minas, renowned for their meticulous selection and processing methods. These farmers prioritize cup quality over volume, resulting in exceptional coffees with heightened attention to detail throughout the growing, harvesting, and processing stages.

The Ugandan coffee originates from the Katanda farmer's community in the Kasese district, situated in the southern part of the Rwenzori mountain range and processed by Agri Evolve. The Katanda community comprises 1000 smallholder farmers cultivating coffee on parcels of land ranging from 1 to 4 acres. They are supported by Agri Evolve, who facilitated the establishment of a clean water supply in 2020. The community's altitude ranges from 1300 to 1600 meters above sea level. Cherries are harvested from three central buying centres and processed at the Nyabirongo washing station, where they undergo pulping, fermentation, washing, and drying either on raised beds or mechanically. Once dried, the parchment is stored until export, where it undergoes hulling, grading, and bagging.
